Author Guidelines

A. Writing Systematics

1. The manuscripts of the research results are presented in a systematic manner as follows:

     Title
     Abstract
     preliminary
     Materials and Methods
     Results
     Discussion (and conclusions)
     Bibliography

2. Scientific literature study are presented with systematics as follows:

     Title
     Abstract
     preliminary
     Subtitles of literature review
     Discussion (and conclusion)
     Bibliography

3. Case report:

     Title
     Abstract
     preliminary
     Case and Case Management
     Discussion (and conclusion)
     Bibliography

B. Title:

In Indonesian and English.   
Must describe the contents of the writing in a concise and clear manner.
The words are 10-15 words.
Written in Indonesian with small Times New Roman letters size 17.5 and thick, and in English with Times New Roman letters small size 15.5, italics and located in brackets.

C. The author's name (without title) is written in Times New Roman with a size of 9.5 and thick

D. The name of the institution is written in the letters Times New Roman size 9.5

E. Abstract (Times New Roman large, thick, font 10.5).

     Written in English.
     No more than 250 words.
     Using the letters Times New Roman size 10.5 in one paragraph, space 1
     Contains the essence of all writing consisting of:
  • Research result:
             Background, Purpose, Material and Method, Result, Conclusion.
  • Literature Study:

             Background, Purpose, Literature Study, Discussion, Conclusion.

  • Laporan kasus: 

             Background, Purpose, Case, Case Management, Conclusion.

Include 2-5 keywords and correspondence containing names, institutions, addresses, telephone numbers, and fax and e-mail using Times New Roman 10.5 letters.

F. Introduction includes background, problem formulation and writing objectives.

G. Materials and methods include materials and tools used, time, place, design, and procedures

H. The results are stated clearly and if necessary are equipped with tables, illustrations, and photographs which are numbered consecutively in the text. The table title is written on it. Caption is given below. Photograph colored / black and white using shiny white paper and must be contrasting, sharp, clear.

I. The subtitles contain subtopic literature studies and the discussion is tailored to the needs.

J. The case is an explanation of the case which includes anamnesis, clinical examination both extra oral and intra oral, investigation, and diagnosis.

K. Case Management explains clearly the management procedures performed on the patient.

L. Discussion explaining the results of the study as reading problems, associated with previous research and the possibility of its development. Contains conclusions which are the final part of the writing which shows the answers to the objectives stated in the introduction.

M. Thank you is written if indeed there are parties who have helped in the activities carried out, then thank you can be conveyed here placed at the end of the text before the bibliography.

N. REFERENCES

  1. The bibliography contains information about library resources that have been referred to in the body of the writing
  2. For each library referred to in the text, it must appear in the bibliography, and vice versa, every library that appears in the bibliography must be referred to in the body of the text.
  3. The format of reference library in the manuscript is arranged in numbers sequentially from the first name out in the Bibliography, following the Vancouver style.

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
